Advisory Board

The Institute of Aboriginal Peoples' Health advisory board is composed of a diverse group of national and international representatives of the public, private and non-profit sectors, including the research community and health practitioners. The Advisory Board (IAB) acts in an advisory capacity to the Scientific Director of the Institute and to the Governing Council with respect to the full range of Institute activities. These activities include deliberation and evaluation on Institute health research priorities and strategies and implementation plans for engaging the broader research community. Appointed by Governing Council, members are chosen for the breadth and strength of their experience and are invited to serve in their personal capacities, rather than as representatives of particular constituencies.

Current Institute Advisory Board Members

IAB members are invited to serve terms of up to three years and may be re-appointed for a second term, for a maximum of six consecutive years of service. New terms are effective September 1 of each year.
