Keith G. Anderson, CHE, FACHE

Until late 2007, Keith was President/CEO of the Fraser Health Authority, located in the lower mainland of British Columbia. He was responsible for the overall management and delivery of health programs and services in one of Canada's largest integrated health systems, serving a population of 1.5 million with an annual operating budget of $2 billion and a staff of approximately 24,000 people.

Prior to his appointment as CEO in early 2005, Keith was VP, Health Planning and Strategic Development for Fraser Health, where he took the lead role in the development of Fraser Health's first strategic plan. He was formerly VP of Community Health for the Simon Fraser Health Region, CEO of Pacific Health Care Society and has held senior executive positions in Calgary, Alberta and Victoria, B.C.

Keith holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary, along with a Diploma in Health Services Administration. He has a Master's Degree from the University of Calgary and has completed the required coursework for a PhD at Simon Fraser University. Keith is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.

 

Presently, Keith is an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University, and a member of the Governing Council of the Canadian Institute of Health Research. He is President/CEO of his own Health Management Consulting Company.

Keith and his wife, Bev, live in White Rock, British Columbia.
