Breathe in, breathe out.

We do it 900 times every hour, 20,000 times a day. Taking a breath shouldn't cost you your life. But each year in Toronto, an estimated 1,700 people die prematurely because of air pollution and 6,000 are admitted to hospital.

Learn more about some of the biggest health impacts of air pollution, areas where pollution is the worst and possible policy changes to reduce the problem.
