The ICS Program is not intended to support the direct cost of research (e.g., pilot projects, feasibility studies or operating grants), principal and co-investigator salaries or research equipment.
Under the framework of the ICS Program, IMHA has developed two (2) funding programs (continuous launch cycle) designed to encourage research and facilitate knowledge translation within its community:
The Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis' contribution to the amount available for this program is subject to availability of funds voted annually to Canadian Institutes of Health Research CIHR by parliamentary appropriations, and the conditions that may be attached to them.
The total amount available for the program for fiscal year 2009-2010 is $100,000.
For those seeking workshop and symposium support, please refer to the Meeting, Planning and Dissemination Grants funding opportunity in the CIHR Funding Opportunities Database.
