Operating Grant: Aboriginal Health (First Nations Regional Longitudinal Health Survey Secondary Data Analysis)
The CIHR Institute of Aboriginal Peoples' Health (IAPH) in partnership with the Assembly of First Nations (AFN); the First Nations Information Governance Committee; and the Institute of Human Development Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH) are pleased to announce the results of the Operating Grant: Aboriginal Health (First Nations Regional Longitudinal Health Survey Secondary Data Analysis) 2007 competition.This Funding Opportunity aims to develop and enhance the capacity of health research and First Nations communities (to analyze, publish, share research results to the appropriate stakeholders in First Nations health research (i.e. First Nations communities, policy makers, Aboriginal health organizations and NGOs). It is anticipated that analysis conducted with the Regional Health Survey (RHS) data will increase the awareness of the health status of First Nations people in Canada, and maximize the value of RHS data for knowledge translation to improve the health of First Nations.
