Operating Grants Priority Announcements: Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (Bridge Funding)
The Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes funded applications that were submitted to CIHR's September 2007 Operating Grants competition that address diet, digestion, excretion, and metabolism; as well as causes, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation for a wide range of conditions and problems associated with hormone, digestive system, kidney, and liver function.A total of 8 applications have been approved for one year of funding at a total cost of $699,869.
