EQUIPP Training Program News

May 1 2008 saw the commencement of the final year of the EQUIPP Training Program, pending renewal. For this year (May 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009) we have 13 trainees (2 post-doctoral trainees and 11 graduate trainees) from various disciplines viz. Global Health, Rural & Environmental Sociology, Nursing, Rural Economy, Human Ecology and Education. We have been able to attract 4 international trainees (China, Germany and India). Interest in the Training Program has grown tremendously over the years. This year promises to be the best ever. We wish the trainees all the very best in their endeavor to maximize their 'qualitative research' skills.
