Operating Grant: Childhood Obesity Prevention and Treatment

CIHR's Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes in partnership with CIHR's Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH); Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (Rx&D) Health Research Foundation (HRF), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) and Health Canada's First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB), are pleased to announce the results of the Letter of Intent (LOI) review for the "Operating Grant: Childhood Obesity Prevention and Treatment" Funding Opportunity.

The purpose of this funding opportunity is to strengthen research and translate knowledge into effective interventions to prevent and treat childhood obesity

A total of 18 LOIs were submitted to the competition and 14 have been invited to submit full applications.
