Canadian Genetic Epidemiology and Statistical Genetics Meeting

Objective: To offer a Canadian forum for genetic epidemiologists, statistical geneticists, and population geneticists to set research priorities and to discuss emerging research advances in study design and methods development & application.

Canadian Human Genetics Conference

In partnership with the Canadian Gene Cure Foundation

Objective: To bring together Canadian scientists with a broad interest in human genetics and animal models of genetic diseases to discuss topics of current research interest while providing learning opportunities for students and trainees through networking activities.

New Principal Investigators (PI) Meeting

In partnership with the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research (2012)

Objective: To provide New PIs with an opportunity to learn how to write grants and papers, lead a research team, manage a budget, and direct personnel.

Biennial Events

Canadian Developmental Biology Conference

Objective: To promote excellence in the study of developmental biology, while fostering interactions within the community, through an engaging scientific program.

Integrating the Physical & Applied Sciences into Health Research

Objective: To bring together leading researchers from the physical and applied sciences, and the biomedical sciences to identify emerging research trends and to develop approaches that encourage effective interdisciplinary research and training.
