Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant - Nutrition Metabolism and Diabetes
Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grants are intended to provide support for meetings, planning and/or dissemination activities consistent with the mandate of CIHR and relevant to CIHR Institutes, Initiatives, or Branches.INMD's mandate is to support research to enhance health in relation to diet, digestion, excretion, and metabolism; and to address causes, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, support systems, and palliation for a wide range of conditions and problems associated with hormone, digestive system, kidney, and liver function. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to further strengthen INMD related research by funding workshops, consensus conferences, opportunities for research collaboration and similar activities. It is expected that this targeted investment will lead to advancement of the research areas under the INMD mandate.
