Emerging Team Grant: Gender, Sex and Health

The CIHR's Institute of Gender and Health (IGH) is pleased to announce the results of the 2007 competition of the Emerging Team Grant: Gender, Sex and Health (New Perspectives on Gender, Sex and Health Research) (see table below).

The objective of this Emerging Team Grant opportunity is to further and strengthen research and build research capacity relevant to gender (socio-cultural experiences) and sex (biological factors) and health. IGH expects that this targeted investment will lead to the permanent establishment of gender and health multi-disciplinary and multi-pillared teams that will anchor leading-edge research in Canada and provide leadership in an international context. With this opportunity, IGH also encourages multi, pluri and trans-disciplinary research as well as multi pillar/thematic teams of researchers.
