Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant: Partnerships and Citizen Engagement

Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grants are intended to provide support for meetings, planning and/or dissemination activities consistent with the mandate of CIHR and relevant to CIHR Institutes, Initiatives, or Branches.

The Partnerships and Citizen Engagement Branch will provide support to workshops, symposia, and conferences that contribute to achieving CIHR's mandate and strategic objectives through innovative partnerships. Workshops and symposia for which financial support is requested must be relevant to the health of Canadians and the Canadian research agenda. The event should also bring together a number of organizations and stakeholders, and there should be a focus on building partnerships and developing networks. The funds for this opportunity are reserved for gatherings which are specifically designed to build meaningful, long-term collaborations between partners with a specific research agenda; applications will be evaluated, in part, according to the multidisciplinary and cross-cutting nature of the partnership.

A total of 6 applications were received, 6 were eligible for funding and were approved for funding.
