Operating Grant: Childhood Obesity Prevention and Treatment
CIHR's Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD) in partnership with CIHR's Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health (IHDCYH); Canada's Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (Rx&D) Health Research Foundation (HRF), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) and Health Canada's First Nations and Inuit Health Branch (FNIHB) are pleased to announce the results of the Operating Grant: Childhood Obesity Prevention and Treatment.The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to increase knowledge on interventions to prevent and treat childhood obesity in clinical settings or at the level of the population, and to increase the speed at which evidence is transferred into clinical practice, programs or policies.
A total of 14 applications were submitted to the competition and 5 received funding.
