Operating Grant: Intervention Research - Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention (2007-08)

CIHR's Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD) in partnership with the Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health, the Institute of Population and Public Health, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Health Canada's First Nations Inuit Health Branch and the The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), acting as Secretariat for the Canadian Population Health Initiative Canadian are pleased to announce the results of the "Intervention Research - Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention" funding opportunity for the fiscal year 2006-07.
  
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the prompt initiation of intervention and evaluation research on rapidly unfolding programs, events, and/or policy initiatives/changes with the potential to impact healthy living and/or chronic disease prevention at the population level.

A total of 20 applications were submitted to the competition and 16 received funding.
