Catalyst Grant: Systems Biology Approaches to Immunotherapy – Funding Decisions Notification (August 2008 Competition – 200808CSB)
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is pleased to announce the results of the Catalyst Grant: Systems Biology Approaches to Immunotherapy competition.Funding Opportunity Summary
The objectives of the Catalyst Grant: Systems Biology Approaches to Immunotherapy competition were to:
- Address scientific questions/problems by applying a systems biology approach to immune modulation in clinical situations. It is hoped such linkages will result in the enhancement of treatment of immune-based diseases through the development of individualized and/or synergistic treatments, minimized interventions, multidimensional uses of medications, time and space sensitive treatments and predictive medicine;
- Enhance our understanding of many normal biological functions and disease conditions by the application and integration of systems biology approaches to traditional medicine through a focus on immunotherapy, immune modulation and inflammation.
Funding Competition Summary
