Funding Opportunity Summary

The objectives of the Catalyst Grant: Safe Food and Water in Northern Communities competition were to:

  • Support individual researchers or small teams of researchers from Canada's infection and immunity community to develop projects that will address food- and water-borne illness in northern Aboriginal communities;
  • Support research leading to strategies for developing educational and environmental remediation strategies for eradicating/reducing food- and water-borne outbreaks in northern Aboriginal communities.
