Moving Forward Together: Strengthening Partnerships for Knowledge Translation

The Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health is holding a Partners Forum on Thursday, April 16th and Friday April 17th, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel in Ottawa, ON.

The theme for this year's forum will be strengthening partnerships in knowledge translation. The event will provide a forum where partners can discuss how to facilitate and identify best practices in developing partnerships for effective knowledge translation.

The program will focus on the development Public-Private sector Partnerships (PPPs) in the commercialization of research, using imaging technologies as an example. A second theme will focus on creating and strengthening partnerships for Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) development, implementation and dissemination. ICRH has partnered with CIHR's Knowledge Synthesis and Exchange Branch (more info to come).
