The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Canadian Stroke Network are pleased to announce the results of the Canadian Stroke Network - CIHR Institute of Aging: Vascular Cognitive Impairment Research Grants competition.

Funding Opportunity Summary

The purpose of this CIHR-IA and Canadian Stroke Network Research Initiative was to strengthen research activities and to build research capacity in the area of vascular disease and stroke, notably in relation to cognitive impairment and to maintain the momentum of the applicants’ efforts and strengthen their research approach in anticipation of future applications for funding.

A total of 13 applications were received of which 4 were approved for development funding by CIHR-IA.
