The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is pleased to announce the results of the Other: Evidence on Tap - Expedited Knowledge Synthesis competition.Funding Opportunity Summary
The objectives of the funding opportunity "Other: Evidence on Tap - Expedited Knowledge Synthesis" were:
- To provide the ministries of health in New Brunswick, Ontario and Saskatchewan with high-quality knowledge syntheses and workshops that respond to their decision-making priorities;
- To demonstrate that CIHR and Canada's health research community can offer an accelerated response option for decision makers who want timely, synthesized evidence on issues of high importance; and
- To establish a pool of qualified research teams for future expedited knowledge synthesis initiatives.

A total of 11 applications were received of which 4 were approved for funding.
