Change in the Michael Smith Prize in Health Research (2009-10) program

(2009-10-30) Effective for the 2009-10 Michael Smith Prize in Health Research, only one Prize will be provided per year to an outstanding Canadian researcher who has demonstrated a high degree of innovation, creativity, leadership and dedication in health research. This year, the Prize will be awarded to an individual whose main research area is in health services or population and public health research. Candidates must be nominated by a member of the Canadian health research community and be endorsed by the executive head of the candidate's institution.
