- The ICR Meeting Report "Paediatric/Adolescent/Young Adult Cancer: A Pan-Canadian Initiative" held in Toronto, Ontario on March 9, 2009 is now available.
- ICR is hosting a Café scientifique on "Cancer: Do the answers lie within our own tissues?" in Québec City on November 2nd, 2009.

- The Canadian Cancer Research Alliance publishes its 3rd report on Cancer Research Investment in Canada.
- Canada reports on national investment in childhood and adolescent cancer research - a worldwide first. The report Investment in Research on Childhood and Adolescent Cancers, 2005-2007 is published by the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance.
- The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) Research Unit is now accepting applications for its Fellowship Program and for its Seed Funding Grant Program (Deadline: December 4, 2009).
- ICR is hosting two workshops on Medical Imaging and Access to Quality Cancer Care in Vancouver on October 5-9, 2009 (Reports coming soon).

- The funding opportunity on Alternative Radiopharmaceuticals for Medical Imaging was launched on June 16, 2009, with the final application deadline on September 15, 2009.
