IGH Summer Institutes

IGH Summer Institutes provide participants with the opportunity to increase their understanding of methods for gender, sex and health research, as well as the opportunities and challenges that arise from the application of these methods. IGH Summer Institutes also provide participants with the opportunity to network with colleagues and mentors from across Canada working in the field of gender, sex and health research.

2010 Summer Institute:

The Institute of Gender and Health's second annual summer institute for trainees will be held at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC from July 5-9, 2010. IGH Travel Awards for Students and Post-Doctoral Fellows

The IGH travel award program provides financial support for trainees (graduate students and postdoctoral fellows) presenting their own research at national and international conferences.

IGH Awards for Excellence in Gender, Sex and Health Research

The IGH Award for Excellence in Gender, Sex and Health Research recognizes outstanding gender, sex and health research carried out by emerging Canadian scholars. This $1,000 award is aimed at graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and residents from all disciplines, working in the field of gender, sex and health research.
