Three-Year Plan for Transfer Payment Programs (TPP)
CIHR's three-year plan provides applicants, recipients, parliamentarians, ministers and other stakeholders with essential information to identify planned departmental activities that might have an impact on their specific programs of interest. This document has been prepared based on the reporting principles contained in the Guideline on the Three-Year Plan for Transfer Payment Programs to support the Treasury Board Secretariat in its management oversight and budget office role. 1 The "Grants for research projects and personnel support" is an umbrella transfer payment program encompasses several programs. Evaluations of programs proceed on a regular basis, so in every fiscal year, an evaluation of at least one of the programs is completed. Please consult the complete evaluation plan in the supplementary tables to the 2011-12 RPP for individual program evaluations.
