Genome Canada/CIHR Pediatric/Adolescent Cancer Consortium Development Workshop

Agenda

Meeting:

Genome Canada/CIHR Pediatric/Adolescent Cancer Consortium Development Workshop

Date:

August 27 , 2010 9 AM - 5 PM (PST)

Location:

Dorothy Lam Boardroom, 1st Floor, BC Cancer Research Centre, 675 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver

Workshop Objectives:

  • Identify Canadian/International patient samples that are available for study
  • Define criteria and the process for the prioritization of tumour types for analysis
  • Establish membership of the Consortium and its leadership structure
  • Delineate the system by which the Consortium will interact with the Innovation Centres
  • Discuss the mechanisms by which data analysis and validation of tumour samples could be rapidly achieved, and the results distributed
