CIHR named one of the NCR's Top 25 Employers

Ottawa, February 1, 2011 - The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has been selected as one of the National Capital Region's Top 25 Employers for 2011. This honour was bestowed by Mediacorp Canada Inc. following their annual survey of companies and organizations across the NCR. This is the second consecutive year that CIHR has been listed for this award.

The National Capital Region's Top 25 Employers recognizes organizations in the region that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees by examining key factors including: condition and location of physical workplace; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; training and skills development; and community involvement.
