Evidence on Tap
The Evidence on Tap (EoT) initiative is designed to respond to the needs of provincial/ territorial ministries of health and the Health Portfolio for health research evidence to help inform their decision making processes.
EoT provides evidence that is:
Knowledge translation is an integral aspect of EoT. This initiative brings researchers and decision makers together to address:
- current and anticipated healthcare issues
- the needs of provincial/ territorial ministries of health and the Health Portfolio
Knowledge translation activities in the context of EoT, take place before, during, and after the completion of each Best Brains Exchange and Expedited Knowledge Synthesis.
Partnerships and collaborations are fundamental components of integrated knowledge translation and are employed here, through the Best Brains Exchange and Expedited Knowledge Synthesis programs.
Best Brains Exchanges
An in-person forum for researchers and decision makers to share research evidence and knowledge
Expedited Knowledge Synthesis
A program that funds teams of researchers to synthesize existing research evidence in an expedited timeframe
