Evidence Informed Healthcare Renewal (EIHR) Working Group

The EIHR initiative is guided by the strategic advice of an expert working group that comprises researchers and decision makers from Canada and abroad with expertise in healthcare financing, sustainability and governance.

The working group's mandate is to provide strategic advice and expertise to IHSPR and the KT Branch with respect to the identification, refinement, and prioritization of research areas, as well as to shape the funding tools that will enable the EIHR initiative to achieve its objectives.

The objectives of the EIHR Working Group are to:

• Provide CIHR's IHSPR and KT Branch with strategic advice and guidance on priority research areas/gaps that need to be addressed and funding tools for the EIHR initiative
• Provide a forum for discussing key issues and opportunities, and recommended action plans and implementation strategies related to the EIHR initiative
