Canadians are acutely aware about issues pertaining to health. In growing numbers, health organizations are tapping into their lived-experience and genuine desire to contribute to improved health in Canada.

Involving the public in health related issues has grown across many sectors of health in Canada – health care systems, health research, and the regulation of health products. But is this a growing trend, or just a passing fad? How is their perspective used and can they be involved in ways that are both meaningful to them and the health organizations? What kinds of myths and realities exist that can impact whether they decide to participate?

Come and join us for a lively discussion on this evolving topic! This free event is hosted by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Health Services and Policy Research. Food will be provided.
