  • The funding opportunity Team Grant: Canadian Epigenetics, Environment, and Health Research Consortium (CEEHRC) is launched. Application deadline is May 31, 2012 for the letters of intent and December 3, 2012 for full applications. ICR will fund through this RFA research teams who will address or elucidate epigenomic roles and mechanisms as they relate to cancer in, for example: childhood cancer, cancer stem/initiating cells and epigenomic mapping of tissues relevant to cancer heterogeneity.
  • The NSERC/CIHR joint Collaborative Health Research Projects (CHRP) Program is launched with an application deadline of May 15, 2012 for letters of intent and October 1, 2012 for full applications. ICR will support the development and validation of diagnostics based on biomarkers, targets and genomic signatures, as well as of innovative devices for the application to patient practice.
  • The Terry Fox New Investigators Award (2012) is launched. The deadline for application summaries is April 23, 2012.
  • The Terry Fox New Frontiers Program in Cancer at CIHR (2012-2013) is available. Application deadline is July 3, 2012 for letters of intent and December 17, 2012 for full applications.
  • ICR is inviting its community members interested in becoming a member of its Advisory Board to apply before the April 15, 2012 deadline by following the online application procedure.

  • CIHR and its partners, namely ICR, are pleased to announce the launch of the Innovation Team Grants: Community-Based Primary Healthcare (CBPHC) funding opportunity. Funds will be provided for teams undertaking programmatic, cross-jurisdictional and interdisciplinary research to develop, implement, evaluate, and compare innovative models for chronic disease prevention and management in CBPHC and improving access to appropriate CBPHC for vulnerable populations. Application deadline is May 1, 2012 for letters of intent and October 15, 2012 for full applications.
