III 2013-2018 Strategic Plan Web Consultation

The Institute of Infection and Immunity (III) is finalizing its 2013-2018 Strategic Plan.

The goal of the Institute strategic plan is to provide guidance to the Institute, and to allow III to harness the strengths of the infection and immunity research community to better prepare for and respond to emerging threats, and to alleviate the burden of chronic diseases that are immune or infectious in nature.

This plan was developed through an extensive two-year consultation with past and current Institute Advisory Board members, members of the broader III research community and representatives of key stakeholder groups and organizations in order to address the mandate of III and the needs of the III research community. Our strategic plan was also formed on the consultative foundation provided by the 2010-2014 CIHR Strategic Plan: Health Research Roadmap: creating innovative research for better health and health care as III strategic directions and research priorities aligned well with those in the overarching CIHR Roadmap.
