Paul Lasko: 2014 Prix du Québec winner
Congratulations to Dr. Paul Lasko, Scientific Director, Institute of Genetics, and renowned McGill University researcher, on receiving the 2014 Prix du Québec Armand-Frappier award for his work in promoting and strengthening scientific research. This award represents the highest distinction from the Québec Government.
Dr. Lasko's work has led to major advances on the knowledge of genetic regulatory mechanisms, including causes of diseases such as cancer and autism and he continues to set an example of scientific excellence for all of us at CIHR.
