Canada’s National Arts Centre will light up in the colors of Stand Up To Cancer

Over 130 iconic buildings and landmarks in the U.S. and Canada to be illuminated in support of Stand Up To Cancer's sixth live telecast

On Friday, September 7th, more than 130 iconic buildings and landmarks across Canada and the U.S. will be illuminated with vibrant colours in support of the sixth biennial Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) telecast.

One of these buildings will be the National Arts Centre in Ottawa!

CIHR’s Institute of Cancer Research Scientific Director, Dr. Stephen Robbins, and members of his team will attend the telecast and take this opportunity to promote the SU2C Metastatic Breast Cancer Dream Team funding opportunity.

Canadians are invited to tune in to the telecast on Friday, September 7th at 8:00 PM ET/PT, 7:00 PM CT.

Stand Up To Cancer Canada will be broadcast on four of Canada's major English language broadcasters: CBC, Citytv, CTV, and Global.

Public donations will be used to support collaborative cancer research, education, and awareness programs within Canada.
