Lyme Disease Initiative
The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), under the scientific leadership of the Institute of Infection and Immunity (III), and the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA) in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), are leading the Lyme Disease Initiative. The overall goal is to bring stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and patients, together to facilitate national collaboration, and to generate new knowledge to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and health outcomes for people living with Lyme disease.
