IA Funding

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is the major federal agency responsible for funding health research in Canada. This section provides access to all funding related information of interest to the IA Research Community, including:

• the latest funding related news and developments;
  
  
• a list of all IA current and archived funding opportunities;
  
  
• a new IA funding opportunity for workshops and other research development and knowledge translation activities will be announced in April 2008; meanwhile, opportunities are offered by other CIHR Institutes and some branches of the CIHR under Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grants;
  
  
• information on how to apply for funding for all CIHR programs;
  
  
• access to CIHR's Funding Policy, which includes CIHR's Grants and Awards Guide;
